Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been super busy as classes are finishing up and I've been a speech giving fool. I guess nothing exciting has been happening and I've been wearing sweats everyday so no new outfits....yet. What's On My Face.

Best moisturizer I've ever used. Doesn't leave your face greasy or shiny but leaves it completely hydrated. Kind of on the expensive side, but well worth the money considering it will last a long time.

I used to use MAC foundations and swore by them. I heard lots of good words about this foundation so I figured I'd try it. It is a very natural looking foundation with a buildable coverage. Doesn't make my combination skin shiny or greasy half way through the day. 

This is the Correction Perfection concealer by Chanel. I use it on everything from under eye circles to blemishes. Works wonders!

This is the cherry on top. It is the Double Perfection power from Chanel. This does exactly what the name implies. My face looks absolutely flawless after using this. 

This is the best bronzer that I've used. I haven't tried a lot of bronzers, but I don't like really glittery bronzers and this one fit my needs at a reasonable price.

My MAC 109 brush is used to contour with bronzer and add blush on the apples of my cheeks. Perfect for both of these uses. It does shed a lot though (as many people complain about).

If you've never tried Chanel's mascara, go do it now! It is wonderful. Extremely black, lengthens, curls, plumps, does laundry....(I wish!) The tube on the left is (also by Chanel, who would've guessed ;) ) the liquid to powder eyeshadow. Perfect for everyday use.

My MAC blush palette :) Can you guess which one I use the most? That would be Blush Baby. It is just a matte rosy blush. Very natural just the way I like it!

Here's just a peek at what is in my closet. My fiance and I just moved into a new place in August and I JUST finished hanging clothes and organizing shoes. PHEW! I love having a huge closet. Sometimes I just like to walk in there and look around or even sit on the ground and play with my shoes.

LOVE these boots (Thanks Mom&Dad!) They are actually rain boots, which are much needed around here, but look like leather riding boots with a full zipper up the back and snaps at the top. 

I opted for a more retro makeup look today. I had a slight winged eyeliner, a ton of black mascara, rosy cheeks, and a red lip (my favorite lipstick color: Rouge Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel!) My vintage crystal necklace was bought off of Ebay. They are perfect for that much needed shine without going overboard.

Antique Finds.

I love looking in antique stores. You never know what you can and will find. Here are a few things that I recently found....

This is a salt dish from the 1930's. I love the shell shape and the pale pink is beautiful.

My new obsession...Lady head planters by Napco from the 1950's. They are just so classy. I got this for $45 and it was filthy. Her face was so dirty and dull. I still wanted to take a chance on her so I went for the sale. I took her home and used the cleaner 'Awesome' on her. That cleaner really lives up to it's name. This is how she turned out. All the dirt came off and she looks brand new.

Favorite Lipsticks.

Here are a few of my favorite lip colors.........

I love the consistency of the Coco Shine lipsticks. They provide just enough color with a glossy finish and a fresh rosy smell as all Chanel lipsticks have. The Rouge Coco is a complete opposite with a satin finish, full coverage, creme moisturizing formula. In my opinion, Chanel lipsticks are the best out there (at least the best I've ever tried!). They offer a wide range of colors that flatter every skin tone. I have pretty fair skin, and I could wear every color. Along with the exceptional lipstick formulas, the lipstick packaging is just a little jewel. I love having my Chanel lipsticks sitting out. They are a part of my decor and make everything look so classy.
